Thanks for the welcome! So far so good with the Evo. I few comments based on my first few days of ownership.
1. I can't believe how closely the app follows DJI Go. Many of the same features are there in the same places and the same layout - but the Evo app is MUCH faster/responsive, MUCH more reliable and a pleasure to use.
2. I know the Mavics are praised for their stability - and they are great in the air. However, close to the ground before landing, both of my Mavics bounce around and drift. On both of my first two Evo flights, the Evo was ROCK solid. I just positioned it over my landing pad and landed with no fuss. VERY cool.
3. Support was great with talking to me about my cam angle question - lightening quick and helpful. Camera pointing slightly right....
