Alientech on EVO 2 Version 2?

without a "load" - antenna-, you're "reflecting back" the full RF power, the TX electronics will most likely fry if you do it enough.
Is this just on the Evo or are you thinking the DJI also ? Honestly it makes no sense to me that it could fry anything .
I have written the Alien for Clarification as there are a few times where I just get up in the Storm and add the Antenna latter . But if I am truly at Risk for some damage than I need to know .

anything RF, DJI, CB radios, old tube amplifiers WITHOUT a speaker. surf up something like "proper RF loading" or RF load design. It's been " a thing" since way before my day

yeps, NEVER, and I mean NEVER turn on a RC without antennas attached. Just risking burn out. I thought this was common knowledge.
On another note, I have both the 2.4ghz only version of the Alientech, and the dual version. I found that the dual version didn't work well with the Evo 2 RC, but I actually only did one test. The 2.4ghz version works fantastic though.
