How would you say DaVinci compares to Adobe Premier?

It has the same if not better functionality in pretty much every area.

Right on- Hmm. Is there any particular highlights / or standout areas that you especially like more in davinci over premier? I'm a long time Premier user, but I'm really tired of it crashing on me.

I prefer Premier over Davinci. To me it has msny more functions and there are a lot of plugins for it. Davinci in the other hand is more lightweight, therefore, at least for me, it has never crashed.
