There was a guy last summer who came up with solution if you have a 3D printer.

A&B Button Blocker
Everyone that has trouble not hitting the A&B buttons on the back of the remote, I've 3D printed some Button Blockers. Just install with double stick and the problem goes away. PM me for the stl file for those with 3D printers.

What a great idea! While looking it up I found a similar product that might work even better called FormCard that gets soft in hot water then sticks to other plastics as it cools and hardens. Not sure how it would do in a hot car but then I would not want to leave my batteries in a hot car either.

I've used it to fix little things. Sticks well to the RC. Turns out the dishwasher fix was only temporary because it does Get Too Hot ?
I think it's the same. Just coming in different form. Pre colored is nice.
