2.01 unable

It looks like I got 'flight controls' and 'optical' before the 2.01 upgrade ended but showing "Upgrade Succeeded". Ready to fly, but it shows.............. Up to date FW available!

I've loaded the FW 4 times now varying the process including a different 64 g micro SD and wiping the chip but not reformatting it yet.

I think it stopping short of stepping through the FW files is a clue but what is my next direction?

I can enable 16 WP ie > than 15 so some of the beta that I am migrating from is still there. Also, this new 2.01 is stand a lone................. it doesn't need the FW your leaving....

What do you suggest? TIA

First format your card. Second download a new copy of the firmware V2.01.
Third start up the tx controller and then the X-star. Let them both boot up. Take your SD card and insert it into the camera. let it do its thing.

Did it all but no luck. The controller screen just repeats "" Your FW is up to date""! This time I'm going to format using the remote and the bird and see if that will make a difference (exfat) again. TIA

What does the app give you for a flight control number? If it looks like mine then you are up to date.

Right on! Autel reformat and I did your sequence and and have v2.01 and no more warning flags! Brilliant work.......... thank you!
