Great info, i had it working before but unable to get it going in the latest FW. I tested HDR this night and like you said....works only with auto exposure. The autoexposure part was overseen by meMind that HDR is available in auto exposure only so if you set exposure to manual then color profile must be set to log.

I agree, I've been shooting for weeks thinking its 10bit H265 in 6K 30fps and its full of banding in the sky if you add any saturation. so now I guess its a 4K 30fps LOG 10bit drone thenGreat info, i had it working before but unable to get it going in the latest FW. problem is, nowere the display shows if u record in 10bit or not.....you only will find out afterwards when editing....
I think you also have to be recording in H.265 to get 10-bit video.Update:

For photos use highest resolution in raw format (DNG), it provides 16 bits, at least EXIF says so:What about photo's? What settings need to be in place to get 10 bit images?
Yes, indeed. That is correct.I think you also have to be recording in H.265 to get 10-bit video.

I'll take a swing at this question. I'm sure others will chime in.hi everyone , i am having a hard time matching my images in video , from my editing to then rendering to social platforms , i'm not getting the same quality images i know its my mistake , so i was wondering is there a video that could teach this , what settings should i shoot and do i need to render in the exact same , so if im recording in 2.7k at 30fps then if the social platform only allows less such as 1080 .. iv been struggling with this one lol
Thanks i tried something new a few days ago , and i noticed shooting at any 4k or 6k always in Raw and mp4 it looks saturated im almost certain my fps are matching up. i am heading out tomorrow and i will try again its horrible im comparing my videos with others and something is not clicking and im sure its a simple setting. thanks againI'll take a swing at this question. You are correct to shoot at a higher resolution than you plan to use for production. The higher bit-rate will gather more image data and produce a better video, even at a lower resolution output. Your video editor will largely determine how good the result will look. I've had good luck with Cyberlink PowerDirector and DaVinci Resolve. If you are posting to YouTube, make sure you are producing an .mp4 file. The biggest problems come when you change the frame rate. Make sure you shoot at the same frame rate you plan for your production. No more struggling, please!
I assume that shooting video in "Raw", you mean LOG. Normally, a video shot in LOG will be very un-saturated, with weak colors. This is said to record better color gradation. The colors are then boosted in your editor. In the camera's Style setting, you can adjust the amount of Sharpness, Contrast and Saturation (in that order). If I'm shooting in LOG, I set the Style to Manual, -2, +3, +3 to minimize the correction required in post. If you are shooting 2.7K/30 or 4K/30 in H.265, this should produce a 10-bit video file that requires only a slight saturation boast. Also, White Balance on a sunny day usually looks best at 5600K. I hope this helps. Thanks i tried something new a few days ago , and i noticed shooting at any 4k or 6k always in Raw and mp4 it looks saturated im almost certain my fps are matching up. i am heading out tomorrow and i will try again its horrible im comparing my videos with others and something is not clicking and im sure its a simple setting. thanks again
