I have installed iOS Explorer App Beta 1.5.9 and tested smart orbit. It works almost exactly the way DJI implemented there Orbit feature.... very simple. I found the Orbit feature in pre 1.5.9 App version Intelligent Flight mode to be unusable, probably due to the distance restriction

I always hover after takeoff at about 15 feet for 20 seconds minimum, so that's not the issue. This feature seems to be "all over the place" in current firmware.

I spoke to Autel on Monday and they told me that they will become programmable in future firmware releases.... they will likely default to current point-setting functions when using Intelligent Flight Modes and then fallback to user-assigned programmed functions when in Manual Flight Mode.
