I was surprised by a B&H box today... "it can't be the EVO battery, I just ordered that two days ago, and the box is too big..." They sent me an Autel EVO bag! I made sure there wasn't another EVO in it. The invoice calls it a "Replacement of order #******" with my original June order date...

Ok - I did get a first flight in on Saturday... Friday kept getting more gusty. Unfortunately, I had trouble with both my stand alone camera and my screen recorder. The video was great from the craft (but not enough to publish), and I did successfully play with the follow mode a little bit...

Hmmm... I called B&H and the rep was not aware of any case "bundle". I have an email in to Autel support. The SKU# on my B&H receipt is AUEVOPOR. If someone can point me to an official source for the case bundle it would help with B&H.

First impressions after unboxing, charging, and setting up RC and phone app. Coming from a Phantom 3 Std (about a dozen flights). Setup was a dream come true. Coming from a DJI P3s, there's really no comparison. Everything about preflight was hugely better, so far. Charging was very easy...

Got my EVO today from B&H. Unless I have to add water to the silica gel packs and foam blocks to reconstitute the case, it didn't come with one. My order was place June 10, so I expected one based on other reports here. Pictured is everything I received. The EVO product box was a little beat...

Arrived, a day early... still have to pickup :)

B&H status is "shipped". FedEx, tracking # not yet active. Would love to have it by Tuesday, but that's a long shot if it isn't already in transit.

I got the impression they did have them, but was told they aren't ready to ship, but he also questioned if the "manufacturer had released them for shipping". o_O It appears most other outlets are still showing the EVO as a preorder only, so maybe I should be happy I'm not still "backordered".

So B&H backpedaled on me today. Phone rep said "don't know when". If not today, then earliest will be Monday at this rate. Going to shop around (but I'd like to avoid taxes).

B&H rep stated they received them into the warehouse yesterday. My order might ship today, but most likely tomorrow.

I got a wild hair and stopped by the Autel office in Bothell. The guy that came to the door was very nice, but they don't have any EVO's (not even to look at). My B&H order status changed from "Backordered" to "New Order" this evening, so maybe there's progress.

I back checked the FCC filing and, assuming I'm reading it correctly, the Evo was tested for the 900 mhz band. The spec info in the filing (draft user's manual) also shows 900 mhz support. See Users Manual and Test Report at: OET Exhibit List Perhaps they intend to implement that in the...
