    Evo Max thermal when sunny

I contacted Autel support and asked them about this. They told me that the thermal camera can be damaged by pointing directly into the sun. They said that the solution is to put and opaque sticker over the thermal camera.

lost my drone due to RF interference

The Evo Max 4T is advertised as having a non-GPS return to home feature. That is one of the reason I bought mine. It appears that either this feature doesn’t work or hasn’t yet been enabled by a firmware update.

Evo Max 4T thermal camera issue

How much is the temperature off with your unit? It’s off by 120 degrees Fahrenheit on mine.

Evo Max 4T thermal camera issue

Is anyone else having any issues with their thermal camera giving inaccurate temperature measurements? For instance, a human is showing up as 210 degrees Fahrenheit. Does anyone know why this may be happening and if there is a fix for it?

Issues with Evo Max 4T zooming

I’ve recently updated to the latest firmware and noticed a couple of issues. First, when zooming in on something, the screen seems to lock on a certain zoom level. For instance, when trying to zoom to 20x, it may go to 4x and stay there for several seconds before finally going to 20x. The next...

Evo Max 4T range extender / antenna

Did you end up buying the omnidirectional antenna? If so, I would like to know how this worked out for you?

Evo Max 4T range extender / antenna

Yes, perfect environment is key. I mostly fly from a wooded area with a lot of trees. So it’s very helpful to have the 20w amp and directional antenna on a 40’ pole.

Evo Max 4T range extender / antenna

Does anyone think this may be a legitimate range extender / antenna for the Evo Max? https://tinyurl.com/Mimiantenna The manufacture claim that this will work much better compared to a 20w amplifier / directional antenna due to its mimo configuration.

Evo Max 4T. How to manually choose 2.4ghz channel.

One thing that I’ve noticed after the firmware update. It does allow you to choose the frequency. However, it does not allow you to manually pick a channel.

EVO Max 4T in Underground Mining Application

I own an Evo Max 4T. Pretty good drone. However, I think the software is severely lacking. For instance, I am unable to choose 900/ 2.4/ 5.8ghz to use with my custom 2.4ghz amplifier antenna setup. Also, they advertise a non-GPS return to home. I wonder how that works. It can return to home...

Question for Evo 2 / Evo Lite / Nano owners

This is a question for all of the Evo 2 / Evo Lite / Nano owners. In the transmission settings, does it allow you to manually choose the transmission settings between 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz? The reason I ask is because I own an Evo Max 4T which doesn’t have an option for the transmission settings...

Evo Max 4T. How to manually choose 2.4ghz channel.

Hello everyone, I’m trying to set my Evo Max 4T to use 2.4ghz only. I do not see any settings to change the transmission frequency. Has anyone else noticed this? Perhaps Autel will fix this in a future firmware update.
