It could be the speed of the memory card. It the speed isn’t fast enough, it could make the video choppy.

I contacted Autel support and asked them about this. They told me that the thermal camera can be damaged by pointing directly into the sun. They said that the solution is to put and opaque sticker over the thermal camera.

The Evo Max 4T is advertised as having a non-GPS return to home feature. That is one of the reason I bought mine. It appears that either this feature doesn’t work or hasn’t yet been enabled by a firmware update.

How much is the temperature off with your unit? It’s off by 120 degrees Fahrenheit on mine.

Is anyone else having any issues with their thermal camera giving inaccurate temperature measurements? For instance, a human is showing up as 210 degrees Fahrenheit. Does anyone know why this may be happening and if there is a fix for it?

Yes, perfect environment is key. I mostly fly from a wooded area with a lot of trees. So it’s very helpful to have the 20w amp and directional antenna on a 40’ pole.

Does anyone think this may be a legitimate range extender / antenna for the Evo Max? https://tinyurl.com/Mimiantenna The manufacture claim that this will work much better compared to a 20w amplifier / directional antenna due to its mimo configuration.

One thing that I’ve noticed after the firmware update. It does allow you to choose the frequency. However, it does not allow you to manually pick a channel.

I’m happy that they are addressing this with a firmware update.
