I actually did lose my drone to a tree because of that mode. I had plenty of battery to get back, but it took control and forced a landing.....into a tree. I had minimal control ie. could only control how fast it went down. I just needed another 10 feet to get over the branch but Autel would not...

What is the condition of the gimbal? I am looking for some gimbal parts.

I have done two arm repairs on the same unit. While you can get the parts for ~$50, you have to take almost all of the drone apart, unsolder, resolder, then reassemble. I have some training in electrical engineer so I decided to do it myself (primarily because autel would not repair it for me)...

Did you use the dronedeploy mission planning with the Autel RTK? So DD supports it now?

Did you do this with an Autel unit? I thought that autel was not supported in dronedeloy.

That is a pretty impressive model. What height did you fly and how many photos did you have? Was it nidir or oblique? How big was the dense cloud?

Although Pix4D is much easier to use, I have found that agisoft metashape generally produces better and more detailed 3D models. But I think it is all personal preference.

The issue is the gimbal is not complete. It is ripped off of the mount and stabilizers. You will notice the electrical tape. That is where it is supposed to be attached to the other section. As advexure said, it is hard to believe they tested this and if works when it is missing have of the...

I would be careful of that item. It looks like it is missing the upper portion of the gimbal support. Look at a reputable vendor such as BHphoto, advexure, or someone else.

The reset button is next to the usb c port on the drone. Let us know how it works.

Did you try a hard reset using the little reset button on the Drone? Perhaps if you manually reinstall the latest Autel firmware on the drone it will clear it.
