Got news for you. You can use Litchi without DJI GO. There was a time when you had to fire up go to calibrate etc.. that was way back on the Phantom series. Now Litchi works without starting go.

I would not use a tile type tracker. They are just not reliable and have a very limited range. Trackimo with a 3d printed holder from Ebay should do it.

I took this route.. Sold Mavic Pro bought a used EVO for 650. I was hoping to get three batteries but I feel like I made a killing for $650 w/ an extra battery. Now if I could just get the Horizon straight I would be happy.

DJI removed it from the Mavic Series. I really don't understand why they did that. It is a pretty useful mode. Not to mention its really good for training yourself for emergencies.

I have used DJI customer service as well. 100% great in warranty and non warranty circumstances. I’m kind of going the other way. I’m dumping my premium and sent back my EVO for a Mavic 2 Pro.

Best bet is to hand carry it and then launch it when you get outside.
