Thanks for the replies folks. Looks like I'll need to pick up at least one new battery. I also tried to update the Autel Explorer app on my new Note 10 this morning and the app would not install. I wish there was a way to go back to the older version that apparently did not have as many issues!

The latest beta firmware and the mobile app supporting "Boat Mode" was released almost a month ago now but they are still in beta. I'll install both and test once they are released as production software.

This "feature" should probably not be called "Boat Mode" but instead "Hand Launch" mode. Also, when trying to catch the Evo at the end of a flight by hand... regardless if you are on a boat or not, you should turn OFF the Visual Obstacle Avoidance and maybe even the Downward Vision Positioning...

Glad you found the drone but the winds looked a lot higher than 10mph to me. It's also possible that the wind picked up a lot on the second flight with your Evo. My recommendation when dealing with wind and a long flight path is to always fly into the wind on the outbound leg if possible so that...

The piece that I photographed was from the front leg of the drone itself and NOT from the remote.

So I contacted Autel support a few days ago after I had rough landing when one of the props hit a plastic trash can about 2 feet from the ground. The drone took a tumble and one of the forward legs popped off. I was able to snap the leg back on very easily and there was no other visible damage...
