The lowest I can set is 25 metres (this is done when the Nano+ is airborne). However, I'd like to set it lower as I could then use the Custom RTH point as a fly-to co-ordinate and follow me while cycling etc. Has anyone been able to get it below 25 metres?

Mine is behaving correctly and is on the latest firmware/software, so it would seem that it's not affecting all units. Bit of a long shot, but have you checked that all the prop blades are in the right place (looking out for the dotted/non-dotted difference)?

I bought one of those mounts with the lanyard loop. It's very good. Mind you, I also rearranged the divider in my carry bag so that I can leave the sticks attached.

How about someone takes you out in a rowing boat and you look over the edge using a jam jar or similar? If the water is clear enough then you may spot it. Being in a boat means that you won't disturb any sediment. Take a small bouy with a weight on the end of a rope and drop it at the crash...

Yeah, I'm not sure where you'd get 3-4g easily. I thought maybe the battery casing could be "ventilated"? That would remove non-structural weight but it's very thin so not much weight saved. The inner part of the front landing gear leg doesn't add any strength either but is again paper thin.

Yep. The strip down video I linked shows it is screwed into place.

If you've never flown the Nano then your opinion is worthless 😂
