Yaw problem - is it a fault?

Thank you for those very helpful replies. My own guess is that my Evo 1 isn't faulty, as the yaw is OK in the Precise setting. It looks as though I'm just going to have to practise being as delicate as possible when using the left-hand stick.

Yaw problem - is it a fault?

I have a problem with the yaw speed of my Evo. The yaw begins slowly, but in a second or so it speeds up, and goes so fast that the drone winds up turning 180 degrees or more. This happens no matter how gently I use the controls, and even though I've got the yaw setting at 0.20, which seems to...

    Can't find Orbit mode

I recently tried to acess Orbit mode, but when I clicked on 'Mission', the only thee modes showing were Waypoint, Rectangular and Polygon. I thought that perhaps I had too old a version of the app, so I deleted it then downloaded and installed the latest version, but I still can't see the Orbit...

    I'm getting very little range

I've been positioning the antennas parallel but pointing upwards. Maybe that's where I'm going wrong. But would that make such a difference? Anyway, I'll try your suggestion. Thank you very much.

    I'm getting very little range

Hi everybody I live in the UK and recently bought an Evo 1. One problem I'm having with it is a serious lack of range, and it's got me wondering if I'm doing something wrong. It can't seem to get more than half a mile away before the controller disconnects, then reconnects, and when it's...

Trying to get a replacement for a faulty Evo

I'd be interested in people's thoughts on this. I live in the UK, and I recently bought an Autel Evo from a company called SLRHut that I thought was based in the UK. It had a UK Web address (slrhut.co.uk), a UK physical address (which unfortunately turned out to be a 'mailbox rental service')...

Best budget cellphones for the Autel?

I suppose I mean the cheapest that you can buy that will do a reasonable job with the Evo, since I don't really want it for anything else.

Best budget cellphones for the Autel?

When I got my Evo, I was hoping my tablet would be new enough to use with it, but no such luck. I don't want to mess about with adapters, so I think I'll buy a smartphone rather than another tablet. As I will only be getting it for the Evo, I want to spend as little as possible. Any ideas for...

    Possible motor fault

The US retailer is 'SLR Hut'. I thought they were a UK retailer when I bought the item (I think they disguise the fact that they're not) Then last night I read some reviews of the company and my heart sank. I would frankly rather deal with Autel - if I dealt with this particular company, after...

    No video on screen

Looks like my tablet just isn't supported by the Evo. Thank you for your advice.

    Possible motor fault

I bought an Evo last week and flew it yesterday without any problems. Still no problems when I flew it this afternoon, but the second time I started it up, one rear motor didn't start. I tried starting it again and they all started to I decided to risk a flight. Had no problems. This evening I...

    No video on screen

Hi I recently got an Autel Evo and I am trying to use it with a Google Nexus 7 tablet (2013 model). I get all the info on the screen, but the picture of what the camera is looking at isn't there, just a black space. Am I doing something wrong, or is my tablet just not up to the task? Thank.

    Changing the white balance question

Hi This is my first post here. I would like to run my Evo just using the controller, without a phone (I don't have a smartphone). The only thing I can't see to do via the controller is changing the white balance, and as I live in the UK, where the weather can change from hour to hour, this is...
