My xstar premium won't hold altitude in GPS mode. It's like it's in att mode or something I'm up to date on firmware what causes this please help

How old is it, how many flights? I’ve had 3 XSP’s now down to 2, b/c one started doing exactly what you describe, slowly getting worse until it stops climbing at 10’, slowly descending if I released controls.

It’s had a long, kinda rough life, about 200 flights, so I wasn’t too upset. Agustine thinks it could be a fried compass/gps board, which makes sense. If firmware is up to date on everything, including batteries, you might have to send it to Autel. My guess is + - $250-300...

....I got it off a guy on FB market place. For 230.00 but he told me it had only been flown a few times and by the look of it . It looks almost new.. but ooo well even if it cost that to fix I still got a decent deal I guess ...But mad he lied about it on the post.

First thing I would try is recalibrating it. Mine acted like that one time and that was the problem.
