What features (if any) are lost going from V2 to V3?

I have a barely used mint condition V2 used 3 times for geomapping. But the controller was lost and I cannot find a controller for it. Did the V3 lose any features? TIA

I don't have an answer to your specific question.... but you cannot find another controller? I've seen some cheap v2's that were crashed in the past.... but the controller would be fine. Oh, I have also seen just the Smart v2 controllers for sale before, if that is what you are wanting
