I am not tech Davy at all. Down loaded "filmor". After a few minutes found it relatively easy to use and it is packed with cool features.

I would have to say Filmora would be the best bet, really easy to use, lifetime registration for $59 and has many features. Has add on modules as well that are not too expensive.

I like VSDC...free but I upgraded for about 40 bucks. I never did video editing until then. It is pretty easy with online tutorials to figure out. Until someone tells me there is something better I will stay with it. Ignorance is BLISS!

My suggestions:
1. Determine exactly what end result you want
2. Research all the opensource and payware titles that will do what you want
3. Try them all, see what fits best
4. Be ok with having a few different apps to get the results you want. You're probably not going to find an "all-in-one" unless you spend major money on the Adobe suite.
