Signing into starlink

Can anyone tell me.... What is the advantage, or disadvantage, of signing into the starlink app... as opposed to hitting remind me later?

When are you asked to sign in?

You only do it once and then it should remember your sign in. By singing in it allows you to sync your flights to cloud storage. I just save all my favorites to the cloud and delete ones I don't want on my tablet taking up space.
