Hello all, I just started witb drones and I purchased an Autel Evo II Pro Enterprise V2. It does have remote id complience however, I do have a Dronetag Beacon module for it but I am wanting to know
1. Is there a way to power this module off of the usb-c port on the drone-or-
2. Is there a remote id that be installed internally so that I dont need the module?

If this isnt possible, no big deal. Ill just use the module but its battery life is terrible and it needs to charge for 2 hrs everytime I want to fly.
Any help is greatly appreciative. Im new at this and have no intention of flying under part 107. I have a job I love and just want enjoy the drone as a hobby.
Thanks

None of that actually answered my question. All those threads went off on a tangent about being compliant. Im asking if I can get a small enough remote id and have it hard wired into my drone under the body on the circuit board. Or if I can use a small cable usb-c to usb mini and power my Dronetag Beacon off the port of the aircraft.

Sorry I tried typing the previous response on my phone.
You cannot power the module using a USB C to USB C cable.

You can install a small Remote ID module in the drone, but I would be very careful where you tap into for power.
On drones you build you add accessories to a BEC (Battery Eliminator Cconnection) that segregates the accessory from the power needed for critical components.
Also are you sure that this RF emitting component is not interfering with the components you have now wedged it next to. Also what about an antenna, since this will be inside the drone body.
This same thought process goes along with heat management.
