Orbit Mode in Elevation restricted area

Hey Squad. I was recently flying in an area with 100 ft max elevation restriction. I needed to perform 2 orbits around a home. I was able to set my POI, pull back to my preferred radius, but when I tried to start the orbit I was kicked back into manual flight mode.

I was flying just under 100 ft. Was I too close to the legal ceiling for this area?

I have completed this same flight pattern/mode in areas with auto authorized 400 ft ceilings with no issues. Does the tech not allow for this flight mode when you are close to the max allowed height? Any feedback would be great.

Side note...smart orbit worked with no issues but for the software I input images to the standard orbit mode is preferred.

I'm not sure the orbit has anything to do with the flight restrictions you mentioned. Anyway, it's 100 feet AGL which means youre basically always going to be a few feet above or below the threshold, not sure it matter that much.
