After up dating to the newest firmware I went flying this morning and I see a major difference in the way the Evo 2 performs. First, the software is now saving your settings. Roll is now smooth, Yaw is smooth, there could be a little more play in the up & down throttle.

I also want to be able to go into the software without having to have the aircraft in the air, I think that needs a fixing.

Overall, I’m a pretty happy camper today. Thanks for listening Autel!

I can’t remember my settings. If I could turn on everything and look I would tell you but you’ll have to wait until I fly again.

That Histogram is annoying for sure. I remember when I first started flying this morning that all the settings were the same from last time or pretty close. I did notice that when I changed batteries I would check the settings and they would be zero and a couple of seconds later would jump back to what I set.

Focus peaking is something I am not familiar with.

Honestly I had been thinking about getting rid on my Evo Pro until this morning, I am much happier with the direction things are going. e’re not there yet but I think we’re getting close.

I’m going to put together a short video from this morning for the professional eyes to look at. Right now the camera is on auto.

I’m interested in your settings also. I have been playing with the settings and Am getting closer to being Dialed in. I think we will get there in time.

Today was a great day, just a little more fine tuning. I have been trying to upload a video to YouTube but for some reason “Oooops we encountered a problem”. I think I’ll have to try later tonight or tomorrow morning.

I don’t know what’s up with YouTube but I was unable to upload this video. I tried all after noon and again early this morning.
Went to Vimeo, this was recorded at 4K 30fps, I thought it was on 24fps. No coloring or anything, straight from SD card. This is just to show how I have tamed the controls.

Looks pretty good for Auto, manual camera settings will be of more benefit once NDs are out. Right now it is hard to get the shutter speed right and f-stop values in the best range in brighter lighting.

Have you shared your setting anywhere?

I need some finesse in my life ?
I have not and I’m not trying to keep it a secret, I can’t remember what they are. I’m flying again Sunday morning and I will write my settings down and share them. Thanks for watching the video, I’m pretty happy with the flying right now, I did notice that most of the time my speed was 2.5 to 3mph. I know that’s slow but it’s what I like.

I use LumaFusion and normally I will add a tiny bit of something to get the clip to pop but this time I figured the viewers would be more interested in “just the facts”.

Here are the settings I am currently using. First, I have been flying in “Dual Stability”.
Under flight control > Advanced Settings
EXP Throttle Up .25
Rotate Right. .30
Forward Right. .30

Sensitivity. Attitude. 20%
Brake. 50%
YAW. 40%

This should get you going, of course fiddle with these settings and fine tune to your liking.

I'm guessing that these settings can't be saved?
The last 3 times I have flown the settings have been saved so I’m guessing they are saved. Be safe and write them on a piece of paper and take it with when you fly.
I did forget to tell you I have my gimbal set on 16, slower might be even better but I wouldn’t go past 10.

When you say gimbal set to 16, are you referring to the "Gimbal Pitch EXP Sensitivity"? John
