Minimum Battery charging

What is the proper time to recharge a battery? Can you charge after each flight, no matter the length of flight, or should you run battery down to a really low state before recharging? Same for controller?

To start with new batteries, they must be honed!
Never unload them in 20% during the first 10 uses.
Never recharge hot batteries, wait 2 to 4 hours before recharging.
Charge your battery at 70% the day before the flight, and the last 30% before leaving.
To store them for a long time leave the batteries at 20% two green lights.
Avoid emptying the batteries completely ...
