Has anyone using the Max4T install a RTK hat on it for mapping purpose? I did set up an account to get it to work. The controller needs an internet connection to work, so you will need to use a hotspot on your other device. I was close to my router, so that was good enough for testing purpose. I threw my landing pad out on the grass and mark the spot were the front legs were sitting for reference. Everything was ready to fly with a Fixed position showing on the controller, so lets go and see how good it really is. I went out and flew for a while and hit the return to home to see what it would do. When it landed, it barely hit the landing pad. So I removed the RTK hat and went out and did another flight as before and hit the return to home and it was just 2” off from departure where it was a good 7” off one direction and 4” the other direction with the RTK. I did the same test two days in a row with just about the same results.
The program said it had a fixed connection at all times as I was watching for it to drop out.
Is their anyone in the group working with RTK and the Max 4T and have any idea of where to look or what to check? I did take pictures of the landing position before and after for reference.
