Thanks.I am not sure what you exactly mean with relay station.
The Live Deck (in my case V1) is in a way a secondary controller without joysticks. The person can attach a tablet or phone to it and becomes co-pilot having plenty of controls over camera, set maximum altitude, change maximum speed, turn on/off obstacle avoidance, start/pause/cancel automated flight patterns, start/stop picture recording, it can pause or cancel a return to home procedure and the co-pilot can set or reset the home location. I might have missed something, but these are the most relevant for a co-pilot, so the main pilot has full focus on the aircraft.
if you mean relay as, connecting the controller to live deck to forward a signal for range extension: it’s a No this won’t work.
I believe the Autel drones with V1 and V2 protocol are using multiple channels for video feed and controls from and to each device on the ground. I lost track of V3 specs, but do expect the communication concept is not completely different.Thanks.
What I'm asking is how the communication flows between the remote control, the drone, and the live deck.
I understand what you are asking and am looking for something similar. Have you tried using it to extend signal? Can the Autel Live Deck function as a relay station, allowing simultaneous use of the controller's antennas for line-of-sight landings and external antennas for long-range flights from within a building?
Thanks
