Lightening cable length

So I know that the EVO'S do not come with lightening cables. I want to have one ready for when my drone shows up. All that I have is a 3 foot one but I use that currently. What is the ideal length for the cable?

The 3' cable you currently use is plenty. You can use that one or a similar one for flying.

If you want to spend $10, you can get a 1’ cable, but I’d get a certified one like an Anker.
