Landing in confined space

I have to regularly land in a confined area where I have to turn off obstacle avoidance to land.
Once on the ground I have to hold the altitude stick down until I turn obstacle avoidance back on to get the blades to stop spinning.
Is this the only way to get the blades to stop spinning when obstacle avoidance is off?

The NANO+ has no problem shutting off with stick down and OA off.

When I land my Lite+ manually with avoidance turned off, I simply hold down Altitude until it begins the landing and then I release the input. It lands and the rotors stop automatically. There could be an issue with yours.
