Just a thought this morning

I am sitting here charging everything for hopefully a flight today. A day of sun between the rains. I have been flying drones now since Dec of 2014. I saw a photo taken with a Evo where he captured another drone in the shot and i got to thinking, I have NEVER seen another drone ANYWHERE in my travels? I know there's a bunch of them out there in the world but i sure don't run across them. Of course i know people that have drones and have flown with them, but to just run across one somewhere, its never happened?...maybe I need glasses?...another thought, i hear where people get in trouble for flying here or there, hell i cant even see my drone when its up in the sky without really having to look, and that's knowing where its at! If your getting in trouble or shot down by some pissed off neighbor you must be REALLY close and low!...just my thoughts for the day...

It is a "camera" and people are funny about their camera gear. Since the camera phone debuted - how many people even own a camera? That is the conversation I had with one of the gentleman in the camera department at Best Buy after I purchased my Evo.

I asked how many drones a week they sold -- he look at me with a blank stare -- they don't sell that fast -- he said.

People do not have the money. People do not care at all.

Or for anyone that thought about purchasing one, and have half a clue about what they are doing, maybe they looked at something like this and said NO THANKS:






Edit: I have only seen ONE consumer drone that I am aware of -- buzzing through my parents neighborhood. Otherwise any other drones I have seen -- flying -- have all been high end or otherwise commercial.

I watched a really large one hover all over downtown Winston-Salem one day, while I was at work. I think they were making a "real estate" like-propaganda video about the city, making it look better than it really is -- of course. lol

I've only seen one consumer buzzing through my brother's backyard. I sent mine after it. ? When the owner realized he was being followed by mine, he took it down. Haven't seen it since.
