I have an Evo Lite Plus, updated to what I believe is the latest firmware (about 4 weeks ago...2.0.19 I believe). Have had no issues with the drone from the update or previously and have flown several times. The other day I was flying within 200 yards of two transmission towers...one is a cell tower and one is radio and possibly TV. The drone would fly up to my desired altitude (under 100 feet for some photos), and operate normally for about 5 minutes, then there was an on-screen and verbal warning I haven't had before (in 2 years of flying) to the effect "drone transmission lost"...sorry I didn't get a photo of that screen. The video transmission stopped (froze), but I still had full control of the drone which was well within view, of course. So I landed immediately (manually), restarted everything (including my iPad), changed the cable to a new one, put on a new battery, made sure the antenna was fully extended, and cautiously took off again. All was normal for about 5 minutes, then the same thing happened. I landed and went home. The next day I tried the same setup in my yard, and flew to 400 feet; I had no problems at all with 3 such practice flights at my home. Is interference from the towers a possible cause of the problem I encountered? Thanks.
