I’ve always been intrigued by this beast. Yea, I’m puzzled about landing too, they don’t show much... It doesn’t look like it can land conventionally. It looks so different than the model in the old video on the site for a long time. I wonder how the camera/payload is protected now that’s it’s moved from the nose cone to the belly. It looks like it lands directly on it?Wondering about wind limits on the VTOL. Would be a bear in gusts with fuselage.
Can it launch and land "conventionally"?
@ 0:11 looks like single wheel at bottom
@ 1:22 seems to be tricycle type gear (tail-dragger)
Optional gear? Retractable?
Yea, and props on the wing tips too. A whole new bird that is very different than the 2017 model.....This is how it looked on CES 2019. Unless it's a different bird? This one has a prop on the front andView attachment 3313 back.

Yea, how do they handle that? Line of sight can’t do 60+ miles, lol.Pretty amazing range!
I'm sure the plane flies with a predetermined path shared with the FAA and/or other aivation agencies. You can also get a waiver to fly beyond VLOS. I have in the past.Yea, how do they handle that? Line of sight can’t do 60+ miles, lol.
Which one?The other one is called the Dragon Fish.
A price tag inaccessible to folks like us... Most likely in the $20k+If you look at all of its capabilities, there's really not much it can't do. I wonder what kind of price tag it will have?
Chump ChangeA price tag inaccessible to folks like us... Most likely in the $20k+
For that price, I would hope it has a self powered GPS transponder that tells you exactly where it is.$20k? Wow.....I’d sure hate to have a critical battery failure 30 miles out, then try and find it...
