how do you transfer owner ship of evo

Well after having a Mavic Pro from the very first shipment, I sold it a few months back because I had issues with fly zones, that did not exist anymore, So I thought I would maybe try a Evo, but not wanting to put a lot of money into it like I had the Mavic, I decided to buy a used one, I found one on ebay at a good price and bought it, It arrived yesterday, and today I am playing around a little to look at the features offered, Today I went to register it, and got a message that that number did not exist, but when I hook it up to the exployer app, I got a message, to bind the unit, when I did, I got another message, telling me the serial number, and that it was bind to the previous owners account, I have search high and low, and can not find anyplace to change this or request a change, I have done searches in the forum, like how to change ownership of a evo, but no luck, So if I have missed something can someone please direct me that way, If not, if some one could tell me what to do now, I would like the info on this to be under my account, Thanks in advance, Ron

You have 2 options. Either contact the seller and ask him to unbind the Evo from his account or contact Autel and explain the situation.

HWKIDD, I bought my evo new. The funny thing is when I tried to register it on the Autel web site I got the same message as you did. "that number did not exist,". I don't know what is going on with that but when I had to send it in for repairs I had no problems getting it repaired. I think they have a snafu with their registration site or their number system.

In his case it's used, so it's binded to another person. Although still under warranty, it started with the first owner.
 
I don't know for sure but they have said if you have not bought from a authorized dealer they do not have to honor the warranty. So far they have but have also mentioned they do not have to.
 
the Manual states the orginal owner, But with that being said, I was talking to a guy that had one ebay, and he called them, and got back to me, he said they said he could, so its kind of like maybe and maybe not,,,

guess you can only do it in the App, and need the bundle serial number,,
