Had another battery go bad on my autel evo.

I'll buy a replacement shell. I took the entire orange shell off to open the sides. Then screwed it back in place. All I have to do is take the modified shell and replace it with a new shell. I do not recommend cutting out the sides without taking the shell off first. It is a non structural component anyway. All the components are attached to an internal rigid box frame.. I actually flew the drone without the bottom or top shells. It stayed very cool, but I wasn't comfortable flying with it "guts" exposed. Also, I have found Autel to be very poor at honoring warranties anyway.

You can upload your flight logs to Airdata. They have a free version. They have graphs where you can actually see the individual cell voltages and temps during your flights. I noticed one of my batteries has one cell slightly lower than the other 2 (I might not have charged that one fully). However it gives you a way to more closely monitor your battery drain and possibly end of life before loosing the drone.
