So, my GPC case straps came unglued. I contacted GPC, and they are taking care of it, but in the meantime, I've never been one to leave well enough alone. So here's what I did...
Remove them, then cut a small slot in the bottom of the foam.
Weave new $5 Orange ratchet strap through and under to support the tray.
So... YES... Real men sew. Not very well, but I applied the torch to it to melt the ends flat and it holds... Then I just adjusted it to hide the seam...
Now I can lift all the stuff out without worry. And it kinda matches.
So, not a deal breaker by any stretch. Easy and cheap fix, and I like the extra support. Wish I could have found a closer matched color... But this is all Lowe's had.
