Explorer app takes over android screen permanently

And I have to reboot phone to get it back.

Any suggestions? Have a moto g
I hit the power key on my phone and get a short restart, drop down my settings panel and then use the Home key where it takes me to my home screen.

I looked at your problem again and on my phone - Samsung Galaxy s-23, when the screen is static (locked as you described it), I simply swiped up from the bottom (or right side in landscape) - a right to left swipe from the edge and my home controls are displayed. you can then press the home button in the middle or multi windows and swipe up to close the program. Should be about the same on your moto g. or "use the force" as previously posted. Good luck.
