Evo2 v2 have 16 zoom

Curious. Have evo 2 v1. Was going to buy a evo lite plus. But if the Evo V2 has a 16 zoom I will buy one of those. Is this correct?

The Evo II v1 also have 16x zoom since dec 2021 update.

In my experience, the 16X zoom is virtually worthless. Not sharp at any aperture.

Just did the update. Straight from 8 to 16. Been raining here for 10 days. Will fly it soon to try it out.

These "zooms" are just cropped portions of the original shot, not optical zooms. You can easily accomplish the same zoom quality in post.
BTW, my E2P v1 has the 16x "zoom" with latest firmware.

Digital zooms max out usability at 2-3x. Anything beyond that is just pixelated garbage, good for identification only. If you need that kind of magnification, get a DJI Mavic 3 with a true optical 7x telephoto camera, that still looks good at 14x and can be pushed to 28x for identification and sharpening focus!
