Evo II Pro V2 missing since 2022 was recovered outside US. What do I need to do for use in US nowadays?

I volunteer with a non-profit that bought an Evo II Pro for geo-mapping in Caribbean. When the V2 came out in 2021, I created a package for them and sent it out to them. Long story short it went missing in 2022. It was recovered last week and is being sent to me for assessment and refurb. The controller and charger are missing. I stopped following the drone industry when it went missing. I recall something about a mandatory ID system for drones in the US at some point.

I know the drone was registered in the US and I had gotten the certificate or whatever to test fly it at that time but never got a part 107. Besides picking up a controller and charger, what else do I need to do to fly it legally in the US at this point? TIA

Okay insert sound of clearing cobwebs ... I have a TRUST certificate but the FAA Registration expired this past August. $5 re-registration, no sweat. The FAA website says the EVO II is RID compliant. That's confusing as I thought RID came out long after the V2 did.

Can anyone clarify the RID situation with the EVO II v2? Do I need to purchase one of add-ons or just update the firmware? TIA

Likely, just update it to the RID compliant FW.

I have the Evo II (640T thermal model) and it already has RID, so you should be OK :)
