Is there spot metering on the Evo 2 Dual - US variant?

No it does not have spot metering. This requires a radiometric core, the FLIR Boson core used on the EVO II Dual is non-radiometric.

Still maybe some service upgrade including only GPS pcb + upper case replacement be possible. Will see after software publication. Really great thoughts if there would not be necessary to buy whole new platform.

Interesting to further discuss this point now that DJI's M2EA is released along with the RTK module but it's only compatible with the new M2EA and not compatible with the M2E Dual and Zoom models.

Today I compare that to MV2P board, and that unused set of elements must be for adsb ping not for GPS.

Realize that if you're in the US, you will need to ship your internationally purchased RTK / 640T to an international service center for warranty work if you buy internationally. I suggest calling Autel support if you're based in the US to get further details before dropping $6k or more.
