Correct you didn’t but indicated to have owners registration on hand and didn’t indicate more importantly the legal documents... suggesting what? Not sure what the bigger & better drones means, in this instance of liability there isn’t any difference based on size of drone to legal responsibility.

Yep, very familiar with BSD, they’re one of the larger outfits.

The point is as a recreational flyer you only need to fly a registered drone. Like I said if the owner is good with lending the drone to someone else nothing else is required. If the owner is stupid enough to not get something in writing then thats on him. If the person crashes into something he is the PIC and the fault would be on him.

You evidently are not up on liability law... or responsibility of Hobbyist under FAA.
 
There is no FAA requirement for the non-owner to register. Only a drone owner registers and places their registration number on the drone. That said, if the drone were to crash and there was property damage or personal injury the liability could reside with both of you. No different than if they had borrowed your bicycle. There would be no need for the borrower to register. If they did, where would they put their registration number? You can't have two N-numbers on an aircraft, so too it would cause great confusion if you had two drone registration numbers on the model aircraft.

Not sure where you got the idea of 2 registering the same drone, didn't suggest or recommend.
You're new statement is more inline of being correct... in an unknown situation of what occurred, damages, etc... recognizing both have a responsibility & liability. The part that isn't accurate is "like a bicycle", the depth of rules within the FAA apply to sUAV regardless of Hobbyist or PT107, the Hobbyist is "currently" granted leniency in Ownership Registration but that doesn't dismiss aerial regulations that apply regardless. Under the newly developed regulations, the Hobbyist appears to be receiving additional regulations.

Debate what you want... my Point was it's a aircraft first, ownership second, and liabilities to whom get sorted in a court. Why expose yourself to that possibility was the caution expressed. Just say no.
