Something different - actually good (but slow) customer support.

I was prepared for no answer or a "no" based on this forum. So yes, after I got a response, I was pleased by the support. Good for you pointing stuff out.

Yep, you heard me right. I've had an awesome experience lately with Autel customer support, contrary to the consensus here. A little backstory: I crashed my Nano+ in ludicrous mode heads-on into a thick tree at full yolo, which was completely my fault, of course. As a result the front right arm...

    Firmware Update: NANO/NANO+ 1.2.14

Oh, putting the full zip file on there works as well? I've always unpacked the contents to the SD root.

    Firmware Update: NANO/NANO+ 1.2.14

None of this is new and shouldn't be in a specific firmware release discussion thread.

Bright pink coat turned to yellow?

Does it hurt to do this on a relatively fresh nano+ that doesn't have the issue? I haven't taken too many photos yet, so maybe I haven't noticed the behaviour.

    Firmware Update: NANO/NANO+ 1.2.14

I'm on 1.2.17. Interesting, two different hardware revisions of the RC - do you know what the changes were? Glad I didn't just try modifying header.json. Although it would probably have done nothing, if there's a HW rev check inside the updater. So just ignore the red 1.0.4.2 for now?

    Firmware Update: NANO/NANO+ 1.2.14

I've done that twice, if you backtrack my replies. RC_MCU V2.0.0.3 is never applied, it stays on RC_MCU 1.0.4.2 (I'm not the only one). My reasoning was: header.json references both versions, but 1.0.4.2 first. Can I delete the reference to it from header.json and thus update the RC_MCU? Edit...

    Firmware Update: NANO/NANO+ 1.2.14

No that's a screenshot of the extracted NANO_GROUND_NODE_V1.2.14.bin to show that the newer version actually is in there. It includes the older and the newer RC update, but the newer one is never applied. Both the old and the new RC firmware are referenced inside the header.json of the full...

    Firmware Update: NANO/NANO+ 1.2.14

The newer RC firmware is definitely in there but doesn't seem to be picked up. Still hesitant to just edit header.json unless @Blade Strike confirms.

    Firmware Update: NANO/NANO+ 1.2.14

Where do you get these updates? Directly from Autel or do you know their firmware server? Android Emulator + grabbing the files?

    Firmware Update: NANO/NANO+ 1.2.14

Could you please confirm the current version for RC_MCU (Remote Controller), is it V1.0.4.2 or V2.0.0.3? Thanks!

    Firmware Update: NANO/NANO+ 1.2.14

I've noticed that there's two RC_MCU versions listed in header.json: Maybe it ignores the newer one because it comes second? Edit: Anyone brave enough to delete the reference to the older version from header.json and throwing that plus NANO_GROUND_NODE_V1.2.14.bin onto their SD card? Edit 2...

    Firmware Update: NANO/NANO+ 1.2.14

Hey, thank you. All went well as before - the only thing that's weird is that the Remote Controller is still showing V1.0.4.2 in red - anyone with the same issue? Tried the SD update again and the Remote Controller started to blink, I waited til everything was settled again, restarted both...
