If you are having trouble with firmware updates via Wi-Fi, try going to Autel's Website and downloading the latest firmware by copying it to a flash drive. Then upload it to your controller and link it to your aircraft. Autel has the worst support service, and their products are very finicky...

Funny, I submitted my RID to the FAA and they said It was compliant. I have an EVO II V3 model. But I read the same report, and it sounds like Autel dropped the ball again. No surprise there.

Agree, I remove my battery from the SE controller. The "Smart" controller is not that smart :)

Even after several updates, if I leave the battery in the SE controller it drains the battery. Autel still has not fixed this issue. Autel engineers should know better than to let this happen. OH, what am I thinking, this is Autel's MO.

I have found that the most expensive part of the drone/gimble/camera is the gimble/camera. The drone itself is cheap. Didn't realize how expensive gimble/camera units are. I was hoping to eventually buy a 640t dual camera, but it is extremely expensive. Guess I should go back to work...:)
