Oh boy. Confidence is low that Autel can continue to produce a viable product in this sector. I'll fly my EVO One until it fails and move on.

It's now $49.95 US until September 27th. If you need batteries for the EVO 1 better get them before they are gone forever.

While I'm happy with my EVO 1's performance I will not be recommending or purchasing Autel products in the future.

I know nothing about kite surfing other than if I were younger I would have tried it. From Jannik's video it looks like they are running a pattern similar to what pilots use at airports, ie, upwind, crosswind, and downwind. That would make sense considering they all want the best wind and waves...

Yup. I did a similar bonehead move when my EVO 1 was new. Flew under Oak trees that had Spanish Moss hanging from them. The EVO 1 sensors didn't notice the moss either. It caught the moss, flipped and hit the ground. Camera and gimbal had to be replaced.

Thank you. I'll try that for the next sunrise or sunset video. I have tried the manual settings but have found it easier to leave it in auto and tap on the Autel Explorer screen to "set" the shot.

I had an ND4 filter on the camera. The Video settings were as follows: PIV=manual, NTSC=Standard, Format=MP4, Resolution=4K (3840x2160), Frame Rate=60, Exposure Mode=Auto, EV=0, Color=Vivid, Style=0. Any recommended changes would be appreciated. Should I set it to the higher 4K resolution? What...
