Sounds like a mechanical issue within the switch housing to me? Does the switch return to center, under spring power, when you roll it both ways and let go of it? If not, perhaps the spring slipped out of place?

Every time I get on here something else scares the piss out of me! This is one of the most unreliable, does not perform as advertised products I have ever owned. Have to call it what it is, a failed attempt!

Too scary for me for sure. My distance is improved and that's a bonus, but I was tickled to get an uninterrupted video feed. Worth the money for the upgrade, and opens up other options as well.
