I’d be interested in knowing this too. I have another idea since I purchased the Autel Care. I’m hoping to be able to change out a V1 for a V2 under the care program. I want to buy a SC, but I’m not buying a V1 even if they were available.

AirMap has lost their accreditation from the FAA to issue LAANC authorizations. They are supposed to be working with the FAA to be reaccredited.

So much promise and Randall confirmed Autel is just another Chinese monopoly with no desire to look out for their employees and one would reason, their customers.

I previously asked for the same things the OP asked for and was told by Autel that they were working on this feature. No idea if they are or not though.

Is there going to be a trade up program for v1 to v2? I’m interested in buying a smart controller, but not a v1 with no future. So I want to change to the v2 system before investing in the SC.

I was excited about the smart controller. Very excited. When I saw the pre-order price of $1199, it just crushed me. Oh well. Things work just fine with the current controller and my phone. The controller isn't worth the cost of the aircraft. I'm sorry, it just isn't...unless someone else...

I'm currently using the GTX 970 and was looking at the 1070 as a replacement. My CPU is a Xeon E5-2690(0), so there's some limitation there, but it's the fastest CPU for the mainboard. Hearing that you have success with the 1070 gives me hope that I can keep using this PC for video work going...

I use Affinity Photo and DxO Photolab. Of the two, only Affinity will import my RAW files. I've requested DxO add support for the EVO II 6K, but no idea if that will happen. That said, I've never noticed a problem with zoomed photos. I'll try soon and report back. In the meantime, try...

Steve, In Route, the camera will point in the direction the aircraft is flying. In Custom, it points in whatever compass azimuth you pick. The problem is that if I thought it was going to be following the Route and never assigned it a compass heading, you might guess that the video is going...

FWIW, I've also reported the problem to Autel. There's an additional problem as well. The camera angle changes from Route to Custom beginning with the first waypoint. This gets really screwy if you move your waypoints after laying them out the first time.

Good info and you're probably right. I'm overly cautious with this aircraft. I'm sure after the warranty is over I'll be much less risk averse. Of course I will probably have broken down and paid the $200 for the FoxFury solution. ?

If you've already opened the packaging, yes, you have to send it in to be inspected. I was lucky and had it there for warranty work and they performed the inspection at the same time. Otherwise, you'll be without your drone for at least two weeks just to get them to look at it. It's crap, but...
