I have flown mine in excess of 25 mile an hour winds no problem. I do agree it does jump around. I just pay more attention when landing or taking off. I cry when it's just sitting there in the case. It is made to fly.

I bought mine at B&H with two batteries at $899.00. I bought it with my preferred Citi charge card and Citi found a lower price at $699.00 and refunded the two hundred dollar difference, bam.
I am the oldest, ha, ha at 72. I found that landing on flat surfaces and always head the drone facing the wind will always work for me. I do not believe adding weight can enhance the fly experience. Practice, practice, practice, did I say practice?
I too live in MI and near many awesome areas to fly. I love the fact we get four seasons and during the extreme season this drone will blow you away, enjoy.
