I just received an E-mail from support@autelrobotics.com and they stated that my Autel EVO II V2 was not compatible with Live Deck. So, thank you so very much for answering me back.

Now I need to find a way to accomplish with my Autel EVO II V2 what was possible with the Live Deck . . .

Hi Wagner,

The Live Deck I have for sale is only useful with the V1 EVO 2 drones. There was never any Live Deck made that can be used with V2 EVO 2 drones. The Live Deck V2 is only useful with V3 EVO 2 drones. Autel really screwed the pooch with their different Vx models, massive confusion.

I purchased EVO 2 from vendor in April 2022 with expectation of a compatible, usable Live Deck product becoming available. My expectation at the time as a customer was reasonable given the marketing and sales process I encountered. I am still seeking relief, from Autel, or anyone interested in paying a lot for a pristine, never flown V2 EVO 2

Hi basing,

One can cast from their controller (phone or tablet) to an external device. That is a workaround for the Live Deck. I recently purchased a never used EVO ll 640T V2 and love it. The V3's have a better regular video camera sensor, but the V2 is still pretty good. Go fly your V2 EVO ll and enjoy it. The Mission capability in the Explorer app is second to none for photos used for mapping.

Thanks for the tip, what is the range for "cast" ? Is that a capability within the android OS, or the explorer app.?
I haven't flown it yet but have systematically tracked updates for firmware / software. The mission planning app looks impressive -
