I have been over a small river, but there is a tree filled boggish looking body of water that I am afraid of getting tangled up in.

It's really no different than flying over land. I'm sure you fly over tree-filled fields?

If it's the thought of losing it in water, get your XSP insured. Or rely on Autel's customer support; they've replaced lots of XSPs that have droped in the drink due to malfunctions.

I fly over trees all the time. I just would like to get really cool shots low over the water and to do that I would have to fly through bunches of trees. I will figure it out.
