Trying to update the firmware but...

Today, before flying my Evo2 (8k) I receive the "firmware update message". When I try the update, I receive another error that "can't update with dual controls". I have a secondary remote control to teach my kids and I don't know how to remove it. I check the available documentation without success. Any ideas?

Is common to be asked for the same FW over and over even when you are using the same phone or tablet and the procedure was done on all batteries?

Update using a SD card instead of the over the air. Keep in mind if there is a firmware update for the batteries included in the firmware package you will have to run multiple updates if you have multiple batteries.

...and you'll have to drag a the F/W .bin file to the root section of a MicroSD card each time because unpacking in drone erases the file.
