I have remark that the top shell of my evo is starting to crack where the arms are. I was wondering if it is possible to order a top orange shell (the front part)? Will autel will sell me the shell and send it to me so I can fix myself or they will not want and force me to send back the drone to them so they can make money with the repair? It is not under warranty!

Have you contacted Autel? They might repair for free. I've found them to be very fair that way. If not, I agree parts like that should be available at the Store.

Yeah, you will have to send it in. 2 hours of labor is $120. So they charge $60/hr. Dang...I am in the wrong field.

Yep. As I said, I like Autel drones, but I know longer buy them because no serviceable parts are available for purchase. With my MP2 I can buy any parts I need if I had to repair it..

I did buy a new shell for my XSP, but after all these years we still have no idea what kind of motors to purchase for replacement.

@Franlac replaced his with Phantom 3 motors.

Yep, that was a guess and they did work for him, but you shouldn't have to guess what type of motors are in your drone. Maybe as Autel becomes more popular more ebayers will start stripping them down and selling parts. For now, trying to buy parts for these drones is just to hard.

I don't know how viable this is, but can you turn your broken XSP into a Phantom 3 with a XSP shell?

Autel will not sell anything for repair parts
Actually, I’ve seen Evo spares advertised on the web, eBay, I think. And they do sell them to their overseas distributors who conduct warranty work New Zealand and Australia being two examples).

Nah—Kleenex in South Australia is working 24/7. What we need to do is stop people exporting it!

LOL
I worked in a paper mill for 38 years and used to laugh at all the treehuggers that wanted to ban logging. I would ask what the heck you going to wipe your butt with when there is no TP around :)

Gum leaves are good, as is newspaper—but in the first case you might have to fight off the koalas and in the second, there’s a danger you might pause to read the news! And either will clog your bog!

Gooooly, anin't nobody ever heared of corn cobs or a seers catalog?????????

It would be neat if you could turn it into a phavic, but I already have the XSP shell. I'm waiting till summer so I can trip it out with some paint. Maybe I'll make a thread about it.
