The Perseids have arrived. Here’s how to enjoy the year’s best meteor shower

The best time to see the display is between 2am and dawn, wherever you are in the world. (Note the showers are not as bright in the Southern Hemisphere.) For the fullest experience, NASA suggests staying up late, or waking up early, the nights of Aug. 11 to 12 and Aug. 12 to 13.

It does not get any better than sitting outside and watching
The night sky.
I sleep outside at times checking out the skies with my binoculars or telescope.
I’ve been tempted to fly my drone as high as it will go to get a better view of the night sky.....but I know better than to do it.

The skies here in Idaho where I live are amazing to view things like that. I see the milky way quite well from here too.
