Second controller in GPC hard case?

Cut my GPC hard case foam to clear the newer Evo 2 props. Has anyone cut theirs to to accommodate a second controller? I could carry it in the soft on-the-go bag but prefer to keep everything in one case.

Nope just a custom foam I ordered from GPC to accommodate the Lifthor mount so I don't have to remove it.

Here is the contact information for the gentleman that worked with me on the order. I don't remember the specific part number though. If you speak with him let him know he did the order for Mitchell from MNT Drone Solutions. He should remember our correspondences and the order. Remind him it was the 2 piece foam design that allows for the compartment for the controller with the Lifthor Mount attached. It's very possible that they can make you a dual controller foam. I have seen them before. If you want the one for the Lifthor, just refer him to the picture I posted above. I just placed the order last fall so it hasn't been too long and he should remember. I believe it was about $100. The original foam that comes with the case is hot glued and if you want to keep that foam, you will have to meticulously and gently remove it. I used a 5 in 1 painting tool for scraping the glue and medium size sheetrock compound spreader spatula to remove the original foam. Once you get a corner loose it goes fairly easy with the spatula. When you install the new foam, make sure to use plenty of hot glue, as just using a small amount will not secure it properly. Hope this helps!

I'm not sure. I've never seen Empire's cases. I saw this in a forum thread last year and asked the fellow that posted it about how to purchase one and he gave me the part number and told me he contacted GPC and they made it custom for him.

I know this isn't a hard case but it is pretty ridgid and water resistant. It is a first draft and a little rough around the edges but I wanted to make sure I could make it work before investing in any tools. I finally got the machine and tools and now I'm working on another one that can accommodate the new smart controller and is more esthetically pleasing. That said it's a heck of a lot easier to carry around than a hard case.. I would be happy to make some custom packs for anyone interested. This is using the OEM foam that came in the Evo 2 pro packaging but the next one will be a solid piece.

I chose a Peli hard case that was the exact size I needed and comes with pick and pluck foam which allows you to fit any shaped accessories and soon to be delivered my new smart controller that is BIG and as yet no Autel case available that accommodates it.
