Original Autel xstar premium drone White.

Hi, i have an Autel xstar premium drone, the original white color drone. I have not used it for some time. And the battery is swollen and not usuable. I am wondering if the drone is to outdated to fly . I dont want to pay Pay $200 for a battery if the drone will not fly due to firmware or app isuues. Plus i have no way to test the drone to see if everything works, Can anyone advise if the drone is to outdated to try to get it flying again. thanks
